The Devil in the White City, the 2003 non-fiction book by American author Erik Larson appears to be finally on its way to the big screen with TAG Heuer watches ambassador Leonardo DiCaprio in the roll of serial killer Henry Holmes.
The film will tell the story of the intertwined lives of Daniel Burnham, the figure who brought the World’s Fair to Chicago in 1893 and Dr. Henry Holmes, the serial killer who lured his victims to their death in his elaborately constructed "Murder Castle." A supposed hotel located near to the attraction.
The movie is set to star TAG Heuer watches wearing actor Leonardo De Caprio and is based on the prize winning book. US trade paper Deadline reports that Warner Bros. have now acquired the project, still with TAG Heuer Watches fan DiCaprio involved and have appointed the writer Graham Moore to write the script.
The actor has also been lined up to play Frank Sinatra in a new film from director Martin Scorsese.
