After a rain affected race lasting 4 hours and involving five visits from the safety cars, Jenson Button pulled off a superb comeback from 21st place to win in Montreal. In a thrilling race Button came through from the back of the field to overtake race leader Vettel on the last lap.
Button was earlier involved in a controversial clash with team mate and fellow Tag Heuer watches ambassador Lewis Hamilton. Hamilton, who was involved in three separate incidents within 8 laps, was left with his tyres in shreds following the encounter with his team mate.
Button’s win moves him in to second place in the Drivers Championship 60 points behind Sebastian Vettel. Hamilton, despite the recent controversies about his driving style is to be found in fourth place meaning an excellent placing for the two Tag Heuer watches ambassadors.
