The Tennis season has drawn to a close and for the world number four ranked player and TAG Heuer watches ambassador Maria Sharapova it has been time to take a holiday before beginning preperations for the next season.
The Russian beauty withdrew from the WTA Championship in Istanbul last month with an ankle injury after losing two round-robin matches to Samantha Stosur and Li Na.
The 24-year-old took time out to visit the recent Istanbul launch of the TAG Heuer watchesFormula 1 Lady Steel and Ceramic Pavee watch. The Russian star won her first major title at the age of 17 in 2004 at Wimbledon. Since then Sharapova has increased her brand value and was the first WTA tennis player to earn $25 million prize money and endorsements in a year.
The Russian top seed will return to action at 2012 Brisbane International tournament in Brisbane and the Australian Open next year in January.
