The TTR World Snowboard Tour Trophy is helping Swatch Watches find a new design for its official tour watch.

The Swiss watch company is inviting budding designers to get creative around the theme for this year’s tour, ‘progression and style’ The winning artist will get the opportunity to break in to one of the commercial design world’s most competitive areas, designing watches for the demanding fashion watch consumer.

The successful creative will gain a great opportunity to design the official watch for the Swatch watches Tour for the 2012/2013 season whilst also carrying out a makeover on the TTR World Snowboard Tour Trophy. The award is recognition of the most valuable championship in competitive freestyle snowboarding. The winner will also get a place at the Swatch Watches Art Rules night due to be held in may 2012 in Los Angeles.
