Australian Golfer Greg Norman is back on course. The 56 year old golfer and Omega Watch Ambassador has been marshaling his team as captain of the International side competing on the recently resurfaced greens at Australia’s Royal Melbourne Course as they play for the President’s Cup.
The tournament was established in 1994 and is broadly similar in concept to the Ryder Cup, where Europe competes against a team of Americas top golfers. In the Presidents Cup, the US team plays a rest of the world (minus Europe).
The Omega Watch Ambassador, also known as the ‘Great White Shark’, who is acting as captain of the International side, that is facing off against a resurgent American Team featuring Tiger Woods. Woods is fresh from his third-place finish in the Australian Open. With such competition in the air, the Omega Watch Ambassador, has called on Australian crowds to be his team's "extra" team member.
The Presidents Cup is scheduled to reach its finale on Sunday evening (20th November).
