Upcoming MotoGP2 talent and Tissot watches favourite Thomas Luthi will be looking to build on his solid performance in Malaysia at the upcoming season closer in Spain.
Luthi won in the recent Malaysian event following a superb qualifying session that saw him grab pole position on the grid. The Suter rider victory followed a tense session and spirited competition from rival rider Stefan Bradl who finished the race less than a second behind the Swiss rider.
By mid race a one-second gap had opened up, putting Bradl in the lead, but the Tissot watches wearing Swiss rider eventually caught the Championship leading German with just three laps remaining.
The final event of the season, the Gran Premio Generali de la Comunitat Valenciana will take place on Sunday 6th November. Bradl must now battle Marquez once again at the final race of the season in Valencia to win this season’s MotoGP2 title.
