The European Champions at FC Barcelona has become the official watch partners of Japanese manufacturer Seiko watches. The company became the Catalonian clubs official timekeeper at the beginning of the 2011 season.
Senior officials of the the Japanese company presented the official FC Barcelona watch to the first team players and coaches in a ceremony on 30th September.
The players and coaches of the FC Barcelona first team are now the proud owners of new Seiko watches. Its representatives including vice president of the Seiko Watch Corporation, Mr Takahash met with the team to present the watches before the important Friday training session.
Mr. Takahash handed the watches over to the four team captains and manager Pep Guardiol. To celebrate the involvement with the club, Seiko watches have developed an exclusive watch. The timepiece is called the Sportura FC Barcelona Chronograph, and has the FCB crest on the back of the case.
The event was attended by the executives of the Japanese company who presented watches to the other players and coaches.
