The run of one-week number ones has been halted by Casio watches fan Rihanna whose ‘We Found Love’ retained the top place for a second week. The song has now spent two weeks in the charts. The continuing success of the song has kept Maroon 5’s ‘Move Like Jagger’ at number two on the chart.
The last song to spend more than a week in the top slot was ‘Glad You Came’ by boy band The Wanted. Since the single reached the peak there have been 11 number ones, only five of which remain in the top 40 this week.
The sixth album from the 23-year-old star ‘Talk that Talk’ will be released on 21st November 2011 but the Casio watches fan has been keeping busy between recording sessions. She recently appeared as the guest judge for the US version of the X-Factor where she worked with music producer and record label owner L A Reid. The Casio watches -wearing superstar will be helping the judge in sending home unsuccessful contestants from the eight contestants in his group.
