With Sportura watches being one of Seiko’s bestsellers, it’s no surprise that the brand has a history of being involved with sport. Since the 1960s, Seiko has been the official timekeeper at many prestigious sporting events, from various Olympic Games to World Cup championships.
Seiko also has a history of involvement with motor sport, resulting in a sponsorship deal with Honda F1. This deal resulted in the production of a series of sports chronograph watches, entitled the Seiko F1 Honda watch series.
