Founded in 1933 by René Lacoste and knitwear manufacturer André Gillier, the company originally manufactured sports shirts embroidered with the now iconic crocodile logo, as worn by world champion René himself on the tennis courts.

Watches by Lacoste are guaranteed by Lacoste for a period of 24 months from the date of purchase under the terms and conditions of this guarantee. The international guarantee from Lacoste Watches covers material and manufacturing defects existing at the time of delivery of the purchased Lacoste watch ("defects").
The guarantee only comes into force if the guarantee certificate is dated, fully and correctly completed and stamped by an official dealer of Lacoste Watches (valid guarantee certificate).
