After becoming almost a ‘part of the uniform’ amongst the US business elite, particularly the CEO’s who feature in the American Magazine Fortune, the fine quality of the watch attracted the attention of another important customer.
The brand's iconic 6500 model became the official watch of the United States Secret Service who requested a model to be customised with their seal.
As fate would have it, the then Senator Barack Obama, being guarded on the election trail, received one of the watches as a gift for his 46th birthday from his security detail.
Since taking office he has worn his Jorg Gray watch on such historical occasions as his election victory speech, his inauguration and the signing of his first Presidential Proclamation.
