Once your order has been despatched, you will receive an email at your specified email address confirming it is on its way.
As long as your order is placed before 3pm (Monday to Friday), it should be shipped that day for delivery the following day, including Saturdays (not including Sundays and bank holidays). This is subject to your order passing necessary checks.
Next day delivery is offered free for all UK orders over £60. You can pay extra during the order process if you wish to upgrade to next day delivery for any orders under £60. If you place an order over £60 before 1pm on Sunday, it will be delivered Monday. Orders under £60 can upgrade to this option for £2 extra.
The Watch Hut does not open on public holidays or bank holidays. Any orders received on these days will be despatched on the following working day, with the timescales mentioned above applying.
As the goods sold by The Watch Hut and Watch Shop Logistics Ltd are luxury items, we have a strict fraud checking process in place. Please be aware that The Watch Hut and Watch Shop Logistics Ltd can only offer the timescales mentioned above if your order is easily validated (i.e. if your order is going to the registered billing address you have supplied, or if your shipping address is a known Company). Nearly all of the time, this is a quick and straight forward process. If, for any reason, there is a delay in this process (i.e. the billing address given cannot be verified, or the shipping address being in a different country to the supplied billing address) then The Watch Hut and Watch Shop Logistics Ltd will notify you of this by email, and let you know what the next steps are.
On the rare occasion that there is a delay, The Watch Hut & Watch Shop Logistics Ltd will contact you by phone or email to notify you of this.
Please note that whilst nearly all UK locations qualify for next day delivery, there are a few remote locations that are not covered by this service. You can view these here.
Please note that the delivery estimates we give do not apply to International deliveries. International shipping is calculated during the checkout process and is free for most countries; however some non-EU countries will incur a delivery charge. On the final checkout page, the delivery estimate is given, which is usually between 2 – 10 working days. We use DHL Express for any orders over £100, this is next day delivery to most countries. Orders under £100 are sent using DHL Global Mail which usually takes 3 - 5 working days in Europe, or 2 – 10 working days for the rest of the world. However this can be upgraded for £5 to the express service.
Some of our brands have restrictions on which countries they can be shipped to, this will be shown in the product information. A full brand list of these restrictions can be viewed here. Please also see our terms and conditions in regards to deliveries to countries in EU Member States which are not United Kingdom.
All orders £60 and over are sent using free Express Delivery, which is most often Royal Mail Tracked 24. This is a next day delivery service from the date of despatch. If you would like your order delivered the next day before 9am, this can be chosen for an extra £6 (cut off times still apply).
Orders under £60 are sent using our standard free delivery service, which is Royal Mail Tracked 48. This is usually delivered next day, however in rare cases it can take 2-3 days. This can also be upgraded during the checkout process to Express Delivery for an extra £2, or 9am delivery for £6.
Customers in EU Member States other than the UK (where the delivery is provided by Watch Shop Logistics Ltd) Watch Shop Logistics Ltd will charge you for its delivery service. The payment for this will be taken by The Watch Hut, and remitted to Watch Shop Logistics Ltd on your behalf. Due to the fact that Watch Shop Logistics Ltd is making a separate charge to you for its delivery service, The Watch Hut will discount the sale price of your order by an amount correlating to the price charged by Watch Shop Logistics Ltd for the free (Royal Mail) delivery option.
If the delivery attempt is made when you are not at home to receive it, the delivery company will leave you a card to notify you of this. From this you will be able to contact them to arrange redelivery when convenient, or collect it from the delivery company’s depot. For security reasons, all parcels sent by Express Delivery will require a signature upon delivery.
If for any reason the parcel is returned to us undelivered (for instance, if the address was given incorrectly, or redelivery was not arranged), then Watch Hut and Watch Shop Logistics Ltd will let you know by email as soon as the parcel is returned to Watch Hut and Watch Shop Logistics Ltd. You will be given the option of having the item re-despatched to you, or refunded. If the item was not delivered through fault of the consumer, and then a refund requested, Watch Hut and Watch Shop Logistics Ltd reserve the right to deduct our outward shipping cost from the refund total.
The Watch Hut and Watch Shop Logistics Ltd are able to despatch nearly every order within the specified timescale, however on some rare occasions we can exceed our shipping capacity, which can delay delivery by an extra day. This is a regrettable situation that can occur occasionally, which unfortunately is naturally associated with buying online. If this happens, your order will be marked for urgent delivery the following day. Delays can also occur if there is a problem with the delivery service itself. This is also a rare situation, and unfortunately beyond our control. If this does happen, The Watch Hut and Watch Shop Logistics Ltd will do everything within our control to make sure your order is delivered as quickly as possible.
Consequential loss for late deliveries
If for any reason a delivery is late when a timescale has been specified, The Watch Hut and Watch Shop Logistics Ltd will refund any delivery charges that were paid by you. The Watch Hut and Watch Shop Logistics Ltd do not provide financial compensation if the delivery was free of charge to cover consequential losses i.e. repurchasing a more expensive item if it was meant as a gift, or taking time off of work to receive a delivery.
Delivery to a business address
The Watch Hut and Watch Shop Logistics Ltd allow you to choose an alternative delivery address to the billing address, including work/business addresses. If you choose to receive your parcel at work, please make sure that someone will be available during normal working hours to receive/sign for the parcel i.e. a receptionist/nominated person who can sign for the delivery on your behalf, as Royal Mail will only deliver to the address itself and not the named person directly.
