Converse watches - Style and quality take to the court
For many in Europe however, Converse is better known for their popularity amongst musicians and entertainers. This tradition can be traced back to the 1950’s when the concept of the teenager was born. In the US this meant that thousands of people were suddenly searching for a new and distinct way of dressing. The perfect uniform was already in thousands of school lockers fresh from success on the basketball court.
Combined with the Leather jacket and blue jeans the look took the world by storm. The look prevailed and by the 1970’s iconic bands were making the brand their own. Special editions were made for bands and artists including The Ramones, AC/DC, Metallica, The Clash, Grateful Dead, Ozzy Osbourne, Jimi Hendrix and Nirvana.
Now over 110 years old the brand has expanded in to other areas of lifestyle accessories including Converse watches. The timepieces in the range echoes the classic colours found in the footwear line. Converse watches are available with a range of variations including analogue and digital version and with straps in rubber, leather and canvas.
