Multi Colour Watches
Sometimes you just want it all, right now. What better way of brightening up your wrist or even offering a contrasting range of colours than with multi-coloured watches.
For the technically minded are watches featuring a TV test card design. The design is sure to be evocative of childhood memories for many who grew up in the 1970’s and 1980’s when many hours of daytime viewing were dominated by the geometric designs.
Coordination with clothes is also a problem for those with busy lives, with a watch which features a number of colour combinations, you can always match your clothing to some element of your favourite watch.
Multi-colour watches are also popular amongst followers of contemporary art and design. Bands of colours are found on many watches to take advantage of the opportunities by new materials such as rubber and plastic. These are easily coloured to give a designer effect not possible through materials that are more traditionally used. However, other multi-coloured watches take an alternative approach employing cartoon artists.
Japanese anime artist Hiroyuki Matsuura has produced a range of timepieces that feature a range of characters from his works. The artist has collaborated with Swiss manufacturer Swatch to produce the line of items that feature the character on the watch dial and on the strap.
