Citizen Eco Drive
The Citizen Watch Eco Drive movement is a watch movement, manufactured by Citizen Watches, which uses light to work the watch. It harnesses the power of light, from both natural and artificial sources, converting it to energy that is stored in a rechargeable cell. This rechargeable cell powers the movement of the watch giving it quartz accuracy, so it is one of the most accurate watches with an alternative power source. A power reserve indicator warns when the power level is beginning to run low so you can recharge the watch as needed without fear of it suddenly stopping.
As an Citizen Eco-Drive Watch never needs a replacement battery it not only saves you money, it also always remains water resistant and is kind to the environment as it cuts down the number of batteries being discarded.
