Adidas Watches
Adidas watches was founded in 1948 by Adi Dassler but he had been active in sporting goods manufacturing since 1924. Dassler and his brother (who went on to start the Puma brand) had previously owned the company the supplied running equipment to the USA team in the 1936 Berlin Olympics.
The improved performance gained from wearing the shoes and other athletic equipment supplied by the company ensured that African-American sprinter Jesse Owens won four gold medals at those games. It is also the first example of sponsorship of a black athlete.
Adidas watches – Refinement and style
Today, the company is a huge international enterprise making everything that an athlete could require. One of its most successful developments has been Adidas watches. The designers behind these timepieces have a clear mission - "to be the leading sports watch brand in the world" and the company is well on its way to achieving this aim by offering watches for athletes and fashion conscious sports fans of all ages. Although the range contains over 150 models Adidas watches primarily focus on two styles. These are the sports performance watches designed to help the wearer with running, football, basketball and general athletic training and the Originals brand that brings a sporting sensibility to fashion watches.
The sports watches are feature rich and typically include digital chronographs and alarms. They are designed to be tough watches that are built to keep working in the conditions you will encounter on the sporting field. In contrast the Originals range brings the sporting looks and colourful construction materials to a range more suited to casual occasions or the less formal workplace.
Whether you are a spectator or an active participant in the sporting world, or like new brand ambassador Katy Perry, you just enjoy the sporting look, you can be sure that The Watch Hut and Adidas watches have just what you are searching for.
