Rotary watches is an award winning brand of classic Swiss timepieces. They were established in 1895 in the Swiss town of La Chaux de Fonds, the home of Swiss watch making. Rotary is still owned by the family of the company founders, the Dreyfuss family. It is the oldest family-owned and run Swiss watchmaker.
The company grew quickly and within 12 years of the founding of the company success led to the opening of a UK office. The timepieces are now sold in more than 35 countries worldwide.
Rotary Watches - Swiss Quality
The world famous winged Rotary watches logo was introduced in 1925 as the brand became the subject of sophisticated marketing campaigns. That advertising clearly paid off as the company has been named a UK superbrand for the previous 3 years. Rotary watches has achieved consistent acclaim for its brand values, namely quality, innovation and, most importantly, value for money.
Technology has been at the core of the brand since its early days. Rotary developed the shockproof watch in the 1930ís and by 1940 had become the official supplier to the British Army. Its non magnetic watches became prized by those working with navigational equipment on both land and in the air.
It's most recent innovation has been the Dolphin Standard, now applied to all watches designed to be worn whilst swimming or diving. The extensive testing that takes place on these timepieces allows the company to guarantee the quality of its watches under these demanding circumstances.
